What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)?

October is ADHD Awareness Month and this year the theme is ‘Setting the Record Straight’.

To support the campaign we are sharing a FREE resource which covers what ADHD is, the possible causes, prevalence and treatments.

Download the resource

The information in the resource has been extracted from our ADHD Awareness training course which was developed in partnership with SEND specialists, Connect. The course goes on to look at sub-types of ADHD in more detail, diagnosis, implications for learning and concludes with practical classroom strategies to use to help support pupils who display symptoms of ADHD. The course costs £9.50 and you can buy online today either on its own or as part of our SEND Awareness package. Users of our EduCare for Education® service can request a quote to have the SEND Awareness package added to their service.
