EduCare are looking to hire our first in-house videographer/content creator to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from sales and marketing, customer services and product development to populate our YouTube channel with various videos that cover a selection of topics that will:

  • Be part of an online learning course to enhance the learning experience
  • Promote EduCare’s service
  • Provide our customers with ‘how to’ support
  • Help position EduCare as a leading authority in safeguarding and duty of care

We require a driven, ambitious and powerful storyteller, with the expertise to take video from initial concept through to polished final cut. All video projects will be self-shot or created using digital equipment, or screen capture software to the highest standard possible.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Proposing and storyboarding ideas for new video content.
  • Taking ownership of video projects from initial research through the creation process to final upload.
  • Creating content with a specific conversion goal in mind.
  • Making arrangements to work with partner organisations (e.g. schools) and filming on location.
  • Making sure videos are SEO ready, by creating metadata, keywords and thumbnail images.
  • Editing existing video.
  • Ensuring the validity, suitability and legality of content.
  • Ensuring consistent brand image.
  • Reporting effectiveness of video content.
  • Monitoring current video trends.
  • Managing EduCare’s YouTube channel to ensure it’s visually enticing and growing at a substantial rate.
  • Sourcing and looking after all the video equipment.
  • Leading on projects, and working as part of a team to create the best possible content.
  • Deliver projects within required time frames.
