Young sports people learn with EduCare
Sports Leaders UK operate a range of awards and qualifications to equip young people with the skills and motivation to create and run sporting activities in the community. Each year 150,000 young people train to be sports leaders by taking part in the organisation’s courses, the majority through their schools, colleges and universities.
Now they have enabled all their young people to have access to EduCare’s online learning catalogue at preferential rates to help them to further their knowledge and enhance their leadership and volunteering opportunities.
For many young people a leadership role in sport gives them recognition and a sense of self-worth that they would not otherwise find. By obtaining new skills they also get them a sense of responsibility and self-respect and their personal growth and wellbeing is encouraged.
