Safety in Business – Safeguarding People and Productivity is a very short four module distance learning programme which uniquely blends risk assessment with crime prevention, health and safety, fire safety and personal safety and shows how you can simply, but effectively introduce best practice into your business.

It is not time consuming and you or your staff can do it either at work or at home.

You or your staff will learn:

• How to protect your most important asset, your people

• How to quickly assess hazards and risks

• How to carry out a simple but effective risk assessment for your business

• How to ensure that your Health & Safety policy is working

• How to reduce the risks of crime to your business

What’s involved?

Safety in Business – Safeguarding People and Productivity is available in a paper-based option delivered through the post or online. You simply read through each module and answer the questions on the questionnaire.

The questionnaires are returned for marking and on successful completion participants are awarded a personalised EduSafe, Secured by Design, ASET accredited certificate. This can display alongside your Health & Safety certificate. It will tell your staff and visitors to your company that you are up-to-date with your safeguarding and crime reduction policies and displaying the certificate could act as a deterrent to a potential thief.
